The Casualty Insurance Claims Directory has been a must have for emergency rooms and doctors accepting auto or workers' compensation cases. It is so authoritative that it is used by many casualty carriers for claims subrogation.
Published since 1981, the Casualty
Insurance Claims Directory is the sucessor to the Workers Comp Directory.
It was expanded to reflect the broader aspects of the casualty lines not
just Workers Comp.
The Casualty Insurance Claims Directory covers Auto and Workers' Compensation
Insurance Companies, TPA's, Workers' Compensation Commissions, Insurance
Commissioners and Fleets of Companies.
Those listed probably are responsible for over 95% of the Workers' Comp
and Auto insurance claims payments in the United States. They are
selected from a screening of essentially all the insurance companies in
the United States.
The Directory lists thousands of claims payment office addresses
and includes claims direct phone numbers that bypass automated phone answering
systems. These are listed in addition to the regular phone numbers.
There are over 2,400 toll free phone numbers -- (800) (888) (866) (877).
Fax numbers also are given.
As more and more carriers are using a patient's primary health care insurance for initial payment of service, and so begin the coordination of benefit coverage, knowing who to contact is more important than ever.
Publication of the traditional hard covered book format was suspended in 2007. The same information plus the advantages the internet offers are now available as the KELLYDIRECTORY.COM service.
